The white river divas are alive and well!! As a matter a fact I will be fishing for three days this weekend on the white river. My best friend and myself leave our families behind twice every year to chase after the trophy trout. I have been coming to the river since I was about 13 years old. I'm 44 now so I've been in love with the river for along time and every year the beauty never ceases to amaze me. Its a very special place. I am so excited to see more women are aware of the joys of trout fishing. We start out every visit fishing for big fish only but by the time lunch rolls around if the "big ons" aint biten we start having a little fun fishing for regular sized fish. Our biggest catch so far has been a seven pound brown. She's on my Facebook page so just look for Tracye Diane Simmons and I'll "friend ya". The thrill I experienced from catching that fish and letting it go back into the river was unmatchable! There are several pictures there of our fun times. Its great to hear other stories of women's adventures on the river. I wrote a story about the last time we went and I'll probably keep writing every time because I dont want to ever forget. Keep on fishin...
